Treat yourself to these mouthwatering Weekend Sliders, perfect for any gathering. Combining ground beef and turkey with savory garlic and spices, these sliders are grilled to perfection and topped with a creamy goat cheese spread. Fresh spinach, marinated red onions, and avocado slices add a delightful crunch and freshness, making these sliders a crowd-pleasing favorite. Serve them up hot and enjoy a burst of flavors in every bite.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 finely grated garlic cloves
  • 2 ½ teaspoons kosher salt
  • Ground black pepper, to taste
  • 8 oz goat cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 large red onion, sliced into rounds
  • 3 tablespoons A-Premium Dark Balsamic Vinegar
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, washed

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Grill or Skillet:
    • Preheat your grill or cast iron skillet to medium-high heat.
  2. Marinate Onions:
    • In a small bowl, marinate the sliced red onions with A-Premium Dark Balsamic Vinegar. Let sit for at least an hour. The onions will turn a purple/red color.
  3. Prepare Patties:
    • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground turkey, grated garlic, kosher salt, and ground black pepper. Mix well and form the mixture into 12 small patties. Set aside.
  4. Prepare Goat Cheese Spread:
    • In a small bowl, combine the goat cheese and mayonnaise until smooth. Set aside.
  5. Grill Patties:
    • Grill the patties until golden and cooked through, about 3 minutes per side.
  6. Toast Buns:
    • Toast the slider buns on the grill for about 15 seconds, until lightly browned.
  7. Assemble Sliders:
    • Spread the goat cheese mixture on the tops of the buns.
    • Add a cooked patty to each bun.
    • Top with marinated onions, avocado slices, and fresh spinach.
  8. Optional:
    • Sauté the marinated onions before adding them to the sliders, and add sliced tomatoes for extra flavor.
