Spicy Steak Fajitas

Enjoy these Spicy Steak Fajitas loaded with grilled flat iron steak, charred bell peppers, and onions, wrapped in warm tortillas. Perfect for a flavorful and satisfying meal, especially with optional toppings like guacamole and sour cream.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds flat iron steak
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons Baklouti Fused Olive Oil, divided
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1/2 yellow bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 red onion, cut into wedges
  • 1 pack of wheat flour tortillas
  • Optional: lettuce, guacamole, sour cream

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Steak:
    • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
    • In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, minced garlic, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper.
    • Season flat iron steak with the spice mixture.
    • Coat the steak with 2 tablespoons of Baklouti Fused Olive Oil.
    • Grill the steak for 5-7 minutes per side, flipping once, until desired doneness.
    • Let the steak rest for 5 minutes, then thinly slice against the grain.
  2. Prepare the Vegetables:
    • Toss the bell peppers and red onion wedges with the remaining 1 1/2 tablespoons of Baklouti Fused Olive Oil.
    • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
    • Grill the bell peppers and onions, turning occasionally, until charred and tender, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Assemble the Fajitas:
    • Warm the wheat flour tortillas until soft.
    • Place sliced steak and grilled bell peppers and onions on each tortilla.
    • Optional: Add lettuce, guacamole, and sour cream.
    • Roll up the tortillas and serve immediately.
