Ingredients

  • 1 lb. dark chocolate chips or whole bars, chopped coarsely
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons Blood Orange Fused Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons Tangerine Dark Balsamic or Traditional Balsamic
  • Cookies, fruit, marshmallows, or pound cake, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat Slow Cooker: Heat a 6-quart slow cooker with insert on high until hot.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Add the chocolate, cream, milk, vanilla extract, salt, and Blood Orange Fused Olive Oil into the hot insert.
  3. Cook and Whisk: Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, whisk the ingredients together until smooth.
  4. Set on Low: Set the slow cooker to low.
  5. Add Balsamic: Whisk in the Tangerine Dark Balsamic just before serving.
  6. Serve: Serve warm with cookies, fruit, marshmallows, or pound cake for dipping.
