This Sweet & Sour Chicken recipe combines tender chicken leg quarters with a flavorful homemade sauce made from soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, and a touch of sriracha. Baked to perfection, it’s a delightful dish served over rice or alongside fresh veggies.
Ingredients:
- 6 chicken leg quarters
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/3 cup Delizia Pinot Noir Wine Vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon sriracha sauce
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons Garlic Infused Olive Oil
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Make the Sweet and Sour Sauce:
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, Pinot Noir Wine Vinegar, sriracha sauce, and cornstarch until well incorporated.
- Cook the mixture in a saucepan over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until it thickens. Set aside.
- Prepare the Chicken:
- Wash the chicken leg quarters and pat dry with a towel.
- In a frying pan, heat Garlic Infused Olive Oil over medium-high heat.
- Brown the chicken leg quarters on all sides, about 10 minutes.
